I have never had better care and attentiveness of the medical staff than I had at this Hospital. The surgeons were very professional but also came down to a level that a layperson could understand. Both of my surgeons had best professional credentials and experience, they were nice and friendly and had my health as their number one concern, my cosmetic plastic surgeon was US qualified and was trained with the best board certified cosmetic plastic surgeons in USA. Being a registered nurse in USA provided me with an analytical capacity and an opportunity to professionally observe the healthcare being provided to me and to understand and learn about the hospital and its healthcare concerns and conditions better than a layperson. This is why I say I was treated with respect, best of professional patient care and personal care, the hospital in India was clean, and all the staff was knowledgeable in their fields. The hospital I was at in New Delhi is accredited by the JCI (JCAHO- USA), the International commission based in USA which checks out hospitals for the best quality healthcare worldwide. If the hospital passes their strict quality checks, then they get the “seal of quality approval” from JCI. Everyone at the hospital from the cashiers to the housekeepers to the nurses and doctors spoke good English and made me feel right at home. My son, who was with me even said the hospital food was delicious.
The budget hotel we were staying at New Delhi, India was a small, clean and peaceful hotel facing a park and an adjoining church which always provided me with a divine grace of health and peace, i enjoyed my morning and evening walks with flowers, birds, butterflies, tall tress and a pleasant weather. The staff at the hotel was always helpful providing excellent service, Life Smile had provided the post-operative dietary chart prepared by my hospital dietician to the round-the-clock kitchen at the hotel and I was served with all the recommended liquid diet every hour in my comfort of my room, my son loved and enjoyed the delicious recipes offered by the hotel restaurant. I am a practicing Eye specialist doctor- an Ophthalmologist. At first i was skeptical about having surgery in India, but surprisingly enough the healthcare service was excellent, at the hospital not only were the rooms air conditioned they were also VERY clean.
